Availability depends on grade and dimensions. Tolerance, surface, delivery condition and certificate requirements must be confirmed in the quotation.
Forming or machining?
Thickness, rolling direction and finish matter for sheet forming; residual stresses and condition matter for deeply pocketed plate. State whether dimensions include cutting or machining allowance. Distinguish cut pieces from full-plate requirements.
Finish and flatness
Brightness, grinding or protective film are different from flatness. Identify which face remains visible. Aluminium temper, titanium annealing condition, and stainless finish and treatment can change fabrication behaviour.
