Outer size does not fully define the section
Flange equality, internal radius and the thickness measurement location affect fit. Inside and outside dimensions differ, particularly in formed sections. State drawing references and mating requirements in the enquiry.
Production route and finish
Rolled channel and a U section bent from sheet can differ in tolerance and corner geometry. Welding, holes and later machining affect the starting route. Provide material and delivered length with finish and straightness requirements.
