Availability depends on grade and dimensions. Tolerance, surface, delivery condition and certificate requirements must be confirmed in the quotation.
Stock diameter or finished diameter?
Clarify whether the quoted diameter describes stock or the finished component. Turning, grinding and heat treatment affect allowance. Straightness, surface and delivered length are as important as diameter for long shafts or automatic bar feeding.
Choose grade and condition together
The same round section machines differently in annealed stainless and aged titanium. State hardness, mechanical requirements and product specification at the start. Listed material families do not mean every diameter is available in every grade; section and condition are assessed for the enquiry.
