What titanium stabilisation addresses
Titanium binding with carbon helps control susceptibility to intergranular corrosion associated with chromium carbide formation. It is not a surface coating. Stabilisation should not be interpreted as greater corrosion resistance in every fluid or better wear resistance under all conditions.
Selection for temperature-exposed components
For heat exchangers or hot process parts, consider normal temperature, cycling, time under load and atmosphere together. Surface oxidation and creep under load are different issues. Although 321, 316Ti and 310S may be mentioned for related applications, their selection reasons differ; follow the specified grade and product standard.
Typical application areas
Heat exchangers, process piping, temperature-exposed components.

- Quantity, delivery condition and certificate requirements
Frequently asked questions
Can I request 1.4541 in cut lengths?+
Share your required section, dimensions and quantity. Our team will assess suitable supply and cutting options for the specific grade.
Are the listed grade designations interchangeable?+
Designation systems can overlap, but they do not make every specification identical. Use the exact standard and certificate requirements defined by your project.
