This product group is solid square bar. It is a different purchase description from hollow square section or a plate-cut block. Specify side length, overall length and production route together. Product specification, supply condition and finished component geometry help assess the usable section.
Corners and machining allowance
Corner condition and side tolerance affect the allowance needed to reach the finished geometry. Diagonal clearance can matter for handling, clamping and fixtures. For keys, connecting blocks or machined components, share finished dimensions and retained faces. A solid section alone does not establish a particular load capacity.
