PRODUCT / SUPPLY OPTIONS
Cut-to-size stainless
We evaluate cut-to-size requests for round bars and blocks. Share finished dimensions, machining allowance, quantity and delivery requirements.
Dimensions and supply options
| Form | Dimensions | Specification / delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Round bar length cutting | Ø 20–500 mm · Minimum length 20 mm | Grade and dimension dependent |
| Block cutting | Width / thickness 10–500 mm | EN 10204 3.1 certificate request |
Availability depends on grade and dimensions. Tolerance, surface, delivery condition and certificate requirements must be confirmed in the quotation.
Calculate weight for this sectionHow to prepare a cutting list
Use a separate line for each size: grade, supplied condition, purchased section, cut length, tolerance and quantity. Distinguish finished component dimensions from the ordered blank. State workholding and machining allowances separately; these are not identical for every material and geometry.
Sawn stock versus finished dimensions
Sawn ends may need subsequent machining. Define squareness, parallelism, deburring or surface requirements separately from cut length. State whether length tolerance is unilateral or bilateral. Feasibility of special cutting and additional operations is clarified at quotation for the specific grade and dimensions.
Preserve the identity of cut pieces
Where batch traceability is required, include post-cut identification, piece segregation and document matching requirements. Possessing a certificate is insufficient if its connection to the physical piece is lost. Defining packaging and identification for mixed-grade or mixed-batch lists supports receiving inspection.
Choose the grade with the section
The same section can serve different applications in different grades. Tell us about the operating environment, machining needs and any material specification.
