The distinct identity of S32760

Copper- and tungsten-bearing 1.4501 / S32760 is a separate super duplex grade from 1.4410 / S32750. 254 SMO belongs to a different alloy family. A description of high corrosion resistance does not establish identical specification compliance or direct interchangeability.

Base selection on process and specification

Define the governing corrosion mechanism, fluid composition and temperature. Include supplied condition, machining allowance, surface and any additional testing in the quotation scope. In oil and gas applications, a grade number alone does not establish compliance with every NACE or NORSOK requirement.

Typical application areas

Oil and gas, offshore equipment, process valves.
