Dimensions and supply options

Availability depends on grade and dimensions. Tolerance, surface, delivery condition and certificate requirements must be confirmed in the quotation.

Distinguish metric and inch threads

Metric and inch threads of similar approximate diameter are not interchangeable. Fine or coarse pitch, tolerance class and thread direction determine fit. Provide the bolt or stud designation to clarify compatibility.

Grade and property class differ

An alloy designation alone does not define all mechanical acceptance requirements for a finished nut. State property class, treatment and coating separately. Assess the bolt-and-nut combination against service conditions for hot or corrosive applications.

Choose the grade with the section

The same section can serve different applications in different grades. Tell us about the operating environment, machining needs and any material specification.
