Availability depends on grade and dimensions. Tolerance, surface, delivery condition and certificate requirements must be confirmed in the quotation.
Different from an arbitrary flat plate
A blind flange is assessed to the relevant product standard for the opening and connection loads. Outside diameter and bolt holes alone do not establish thickness or pressure capability. Include the drawing connection designation and design conditions.
Facing and gasket compatibility
Flat face, raised face and other sealing geometries must match the mating component. Gasket type and surface condition also affect assembly. Existing flange markings, dimensions and required certification help identify a replacement.
